Colonic
Hydrotherapy, also known as Colonic Irrigation,
is a method of cleansing the colon of toxic
waste.
Toxic waste is absorbed through the large intestine
and it is thought that the average person may
carry around between 7 – 25lbs
of toxic waste.
Toxic
overload is responsible for many body imbalances
which can lead to serious health problems. Your
colon is designed to eliminate waste from the
body but a combination of poor diet, improper
food combining and prescription drugs may impair
its ability to function correctly.
Colonic
Hydrotherapy is a safe and easy way to cleanse
the colon of old waste material and harmful
toxins. The treatment helps restore the pH balance
in the body, stimulates the immune system and
provides a favourable environment for ‘friendly’
bacteria.
During
a treatment (at Natural Practices clinic in
Wilmslow, Cheshire) water is
gently introduced into the colon via the rectum
– with special massage techniques, the
water begins to soften and cleanse the colon
of faecal matter and old deposits which are
then discreetly piped into the drain line without
offensive odour and without compromising the
dignity of the patient.
Modesty and confidentiality are preserved at
all times.
The
first treatment lasts for one and a half hours
and includes a consultation. Subsequent treatments
last one hour.
We
advise you take bowel cleansers to complement
the Colonic hydrotherapy and to ensure the maximum
benefit from your course of treatment.
The
Clinic is opened Monday - Thursday 10 am - 9
pm, Friday 10am - 6pm, Saturday 10am - 4pm.
Some Sundays 12 noon - 4pm
