Characteristics: Heavy, painful
periods with flooding, tiredness and mood swings
Mrs. C. age 35, suffered from excruciating period
pains. Every month she would lose a lot of blood,
would usually vomit and suffer severe water retention
around the abdomen and breasts which was very painful.
She had suffered this as a teenager but had taken
the contraceptive pill to try and combat it. She had
been on the pill for 13 years and had stopped taking
it in order to conceive, Since the birth of her child,
some 10 months ago, the debilitating periods had reoccurred.
‘The
Health Detective’ Screening System
identified imbalances in the hormones, deficiency
in Progesterone and Adrenal hormones. She was found
to be deficient in Vitamin E, Vitamin C, Potassium,
B vitamins and sensitive to dairy products, wheat
and sugar. She was given suitable homeopathic and
herbal remedies. Her symptoms slowly receded over
a couple of months and her periods became a lot lighter
and pain-free.
In cases of extreme pain or heavy periods we tend
to also recommend a course of Colonic Hydrotherapy
as constipation and/or diarrhoea normally go hand-in-hand
with this condition.
