Chinese Mood Elevator (formerly AD-C) [Nervous] is a Chinese formula composed of 18 herbs traditionally used as a “fire enhancing” combination to regulate and untrap the chi (vitality). Its two key ingredients, bupleurum root and cyperus rhizome, support and nourish the liver, the organ (according to Chinese philosophy) that plays an integral role in mood. When the liver is functioning at its peak, mood may be improved. Its Chinese name jie yu means “relieve depression.”
Chinese Mood Elevator contains herbs that support the nervous, urinary, circulatory and respiratory systems. This combination includes:perilla leaves, saussurea root, aurantium peel, bamboo sap, bupleurum root, cyperus rhizome, gambir twig, ophiopogon root, pinellia rhizome, zhishi fruit, dang gui root, hoelen plant, ligusticum rhizome, panax ginseng root, platycodon root, coptis rhizome, ginger rhizome and licorice root. Take 4 capsules with a meal twice daily.
